Terms and conditions
These terms apply when you use Alumni Co-Pilot, whether in the mobile app, the staff portal, or on this website. Recovery Copilot LLC provides the service; your treatment center runs your community inside it.
Who provides what
Recovery Copilot LLC builds and operates Alumni Co-Pilot. A participating treatment center runs its own alumni community using the service, and decides who is invited, what it publishes, which features are switched on, and how its staff follow up with members.
That division matters when something goes wrong. Questions about the software come to us. Questions about your center’s program, its records, its staff, or a decision it made about your participation go to the center.
Who may use the service
The service is intended for adults age 18 and older who have been invited by a participating center. You need a valid invitation or center code; there is no open public sign-up.
Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself, and tell us or your center promptly if you believe someone else has access to your account.
What this service is not
Alumni Co-Pilot is not a medical device, not a clinical record system, not an electronic health record, and not a substitute for treatment, therapy, or professional clinical care. It does not diagnose any condition, does not predict relapse, and does not provide continuous monitoring of anyone.
It is also not an emergency service and is not watched around the clock. If you or someone else is in danger, call or text 988 in the United States, call 911 for immediate danger, or use the emergency services available where you live.
Your content and your community
What you write in the app stays yours. You give us the permission we need to store it, display it to the people you chose to share it with, and operate the service — and nothing beyond that.
Some writing is private to your account by design: journals, nightly reflections, gratitude entries, meditation history, your recovery plan, your personal meeting plans, and your private attendance record. Center staff cannot read those through the product.
We do not sell member data, use it for targeted advertising, or use private recovery content to train artificial intelligence models.
The community guidelines set out what is expected of everyone in a community and what happens when something goes wrong. They are part of these terms.
Acceptable use
- Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, or exploit anyone.
- Do not share another person’s identity, treatment history, messages, or screenshots without their permission.
- Do not use the service to buy, sell, or arrange illegal substances.
- Do not attempt to reach data, accounts, or centers you have not been given access to, and do not probe, scrape, or disrupt the service.
- Do not submit information about another person that you are not authorized to share.
A center may remove content, restrict features, suspend access, or end a member’s participation under its own policies. We may suspend or end access to protect members, the service, or a center.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service running, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption. Features change as the product develops: some are added, some are altered, and some are removed. Where a change materially affects how members use the service, we will tell participating centers.
We may update these terms. When we do, the effective date at the top changes, and material changes will be communicated to participating centers.
Ending your use
You can stop using the service at any time, leave a center from inside the app, or delete your account. The account deletion page explains both routes and exactly what is removed.
Disclaimers and limits
The service is provided as it is and as it is available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data or lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Nothing here changes any separate written agreement between Recovery Copilot LLCand a participating center. Where such an agreement conflicts with these terms for that center’s use, the agreement governs.
Privacy
The privacy policy explains what information the service handles, who can see it, how long it is kept, and the choices members have. It is part of these terms.
Questions
Questions about these terms can be sent to support@recoverycopilot.app. Questions about a particular center’s program or records should go to that center.
